Intercontinental Trading Corp. was incorporated by President & CEO Louis Vigden at 2-3-9 Azabudai, Minato-ku, Tokyo with a startup capital of 40 Million Yen.
1984 Following incorporation, a two prong business strategy is established: strengthening of tobacco related business, and expansion into diversified business areas. ITC secures distributorship of tobacco products from SEITA of France.
1985 Industrial Division strengthens its position by initiating importation of European fireproof ship interior wall materials and extreme-temperature resistant paint / sealant for offshore rigs.
1990 Luxury Housing Division is inaugurated by ITC becoming primary importer / distributor of products from Town & Country Cedar Homes of USA.
1992 Cigar Club, Ltd. is created as wholly owned subsidiary of ITC. Four directly operated retail stores open in Tokyo and Osaka.
1996 Tobacco Division gains exclusive distributorship of Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company products in Japan.
1997 Le Connaisseur, a cigar bar / retail store chain, is produced as a joint venture between ITC and Japan Tobacco.
2003, December ITC secures cosmetics importation license in Japan. New business concept is realized and Cosmetics Division is created.
2004, Became exclusive import agent for Art of Shaving, Inc. (U.S.)
Acquired license for real-estate operations.
2006, Became exclusive import agent for OROBLU (Italy)
2007, Became exclusive import agent for Forge de Laguiole (Flance)
2008, Integrated Cigar Clube, Ltd. Into ITC
2009, Became exclusive import agent for OMAS (Italy)
